July Xmas Stamp-a-Stack

Don’t forget that July is the first month for the Xmas Stamp-a-Stack. Get started on your Christmas cards now. Don’t wait until the last minute. Here are the designs for July’s SAS held this Saturday.

Open House – Autumn Mini

A few weeks ago, before I went over to Japan for a holiday, I held an open house for the new Autumn mini. We made two items, one of them was this card using the Vintage Vogue Clear Mount stamp set and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder through the Big Shot.

As for the 3D item, the ladies made a quick little box using the Big Shot Fancy Favor Die. I was originally planning on using the bird punch, however I didn’t receive it in time. I’ll make one later.

Hostess Appreciation

Early March I held a hostess appreciation for my past hostesses and we had a wonderful time. We made two projects, an Easter Basket with a punch art bunny (Amy Celona) and a desktop calender (cased from my upline, Steph Pike).

Christmas in July – well August now!

Can you believe it it’s already August? It won’t be long before it’s Christmas. So I’ve started to create some Christmas cards now so when Christmas is here, I will have a nice supply of cards to send out.

Here are some that I’ve created using the Tree Trimmings stamp set fromthe New Mini and the lovely extra wide grosgrain ribbon.

Over the weekend, I attended a fantastic World Card Making Day event in Hemmant held by Nicki, Vicki and Steph. I had a joyous day creating 12 lovely cards as you can see in the photo. There were so many people just enjoying themselves, stamping along and just amazed at the beautiful cards, the fabulous prizes and the gorgeous food. They treated us to homemade scones and cupcakes for morning tea, then wonderful sandwiches for lunch. All I know was that I had a ball and I got to spend time with some lovely stamping friends and come home with 12 new cards. Can’t wait for the next event!
