Birthday Cards

Here’s two cards that I made for some recent birthdays.

This one is for Damon who turned 8 this year. I couldn’t wait to use my circle scissors. It cuts perfectly! Love it. And guess what? It’s coming out in the new Summer mini – available from December. See how easy you can make circles from 1-6″ in diameter. And do you like my multicoloured greeting? I just love how versatile this one stamp is. I’ve used it in a few of my cards. So quick and easy.

Stamps – Birthday Wish
Ink – Tempting Turquoise, Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, Real Red Stampin Markers
Paper – A4 CS in Tempting Turquoise, Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White
Accessories – Circle Scissors, black cotton thread, Pumkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, sponges, balloon die.

And this card was for my husband’s grandmother’s birthday. I thought I’d try the flower pot card. At first I only had the flowers and realised that the flowers really were too small by itself. Rather than fix up the flower pot, I added the green leaves. What do you think? The dimensions seem a little more realistic.
